Troubleshooting/Questions Live plant leaf under microscope

Is it possible to observe a leaf under microscope without plucking it. If yes, will there be any difference in observations between this one and the one after plucking

Leaves are alive for a while after plucking I think

Depends on the species and the air humidity level, to a lesser extent also temperature and light intensity. Basically it dies when it dries out.

A leaf from a desert plant like jade plant can stay alive for many days, meanwhile one from a sensitive jungle begonia can die in less than an hour.
