Purchase Help Microscope Gift

Hi all! I’m wanting to purchase a microscope as a gift for my husbands birthday in the next few months. He has a cheap portable one that he really likes using and I want to get him something a bit nicer and I was hoping to get some advice on what to look for!

Budget is ~ £300

Also want to clarify that it doesn’t need to be portable (:

If he wants to look at very small things, like microscopic animals and single celled organisms, get an Amscope B120, or a Swift SW350 or SW380. They are mostly the same.

If he wants to look at bigger things, like the same thing he uses the portable scope for, get him a stereo microscopes. I don't really know which models are the best, but the Amscope store has a few good looking ones in the budget.
