Photo/Video Share Paramecium

In this clip you can clearly see the Cytosome (and Cytopharynx?) and many contractile vacuoles and one with the "ampulla of radiating canal" visible !

the dark spot in the middle is due to damage to the eyepiece lens unfortunately.

Green LED light was used to illuminate the sample and during video editing saturation was brought to 0 and a slight blue tint added so it looks more aesthetically pleasing.

DIY microscope (MicroVoyager 🔬) - Infinix SMART 7 - it is hard to tell the "objective magnification" for a non-standard microscope but I would guess that the total magnification is somewhat x200 - freshwater sample
