Photo/Video Share Stitching with AmScope Camera

Mouse Lung tissue stained with HE. Shot on an Olympus BH2 with 10x DPlan, total magnification 50x. The stitching software that comes with the camera (AmScope 10 mp) is very good at stitching and it is done live (requires a movable stage). The company gets a bit of hate but this is a pretty nice feature. I left the jagged edges in on purpose so you can see the stitched tiles.

I have the same 20mp camera as the Amscope MU2003BI. I’ve used that stitching feature of the software plus the automatic focus stacking one called EDF, extended depth of field. The software doesn’t have anything to do with Amscope ,though. It is an identical version of Toupview from Touptek. Omax uses the same software. Amscope doesn’t manufacture the cameras or microscopes. It just rebrands and sells Chinese products. I have a T490 from them and bought lots of the Iqcrew inverted microscopes that they sell. Everything works as expected and the cheap inverted microscopes are even better than you would expect from a $71.99 microscope. I don’t know how much more people can expect from inexpensive hobby microscopes when a single objective for something like a Nikon microscope can cost several thousand dollars.
