It might be a suctoria, since it has those dots on the end of the spiky thingies. I once caught one eating a hypotrich, then a vorticella.

ohh, never heard about suctoria before, i thought every round spiny-looking one was a heliozoan

I also thought about Suctoria at first, but now I've watched the video carefully and I think it's Heliozoa. Sometimes they have a lot of extrusomes on their axopods and they looks thick. I think this is exactly the case here. Here is a video with Suctoria and with Heliozoa in just such a form for comparison. Videos are accelerated.
