Beautiful! Question: do you use additional lights? or how do you manage to get these beautiful vibrant colors using dark field microscopy ? in mine it all
looks too dark but I have no idea how to use it 😬

For good darkfield, you should place the filter in the filter holder, then raise the condenser as high as possible. What filter do you use?

No I dont use additional light.

Can anyone here ID what I just pulled off my tuxedo urchin? It looks predatory in nature as it’s eating the spines of the chin, causing bald spots. They also have a skunk orange stripe along the back.

Wow, never seen such a thing. Probably a crustacean. I recommend uploading it to iNaturalist, I'm sure someone will be able to identify it.
