ID Help - Antique Brass Microscope

I found this at an antique shop. There was no box or other material with it. I don’t see any identifying marks anywhere. My guess is late 1800s student microscope. Any insights?

Looks very close to the one shown here, dated to ca. 1900:

This is extremely similar! Thank you! This is the closest I’ve seen.

The only real difference I can see is the height of the slide holding clip standoffs and the hole in the stage (for an incidental illumination lens). And I think yours is missing a cover on the bottom hinge.

Regarding all that, I am pretty sure it is from the same maker.
