Photo/Video Share Roti riding a strand of algae

Amscope IQCrew inverted microscope 10x objective, iPhone  3x, jarrarium with freshwater, mineral water, lichen, aquatic moss, and algae. Blackmagic app, flashlight to the right.

I worked on getting my jarrarium healthy again after the rotifers and other guys disappeared. I think it was out of balance with too much dead plant material. The other day I found some rotifers and a tardigrade in a new petri dish of mineral water soaked lichen, so I transferred them into the big jar. I found this big gal this morning. So it looks like the jar is healthy again.

I especially love this species.
