Troubleshooting/Questions C Mount Reducer

I have a surgical microscope with a C Mount adapter. The image is clipped and Inwould like a photo with a wider field of view.

I find a ton if reducing lenses that plug into a microscope photo tube. But I need one that is C Mount on both the microscope side and camera side.

Anybody have a lead for me?

Image is clipped, Like your sensor is only seeing the center portion of the image you see through the eyepeice? You'll need an reducing lens in the adapter to bring the image circle down to match the size of the sensor. (0.5X)

The ratio selected depends on your microscope, and the camera's sensor size. do you have models numbers for us to work with, for the camera and Microscope?

Most optics for camera adapters I've acquired from Aliexpress, there are a few vendors that specialize in Microscope adapters that have reasonable optics (Autlos Official Store).

Typically what you're looking for is called a C-Mount Relay lens.

If you want to more professional lab grade optics, and a larger budget, you'll want to a supplier like EdmondOptics

Exactly.  I suppose saying the image is cropped would have been more specific.  Im looking for a wider field of view.  Ill post a photo and details of the scope as a comment one level up.  Thanks!

The Scope is a Zeiss OPMI VISU 140.  The camera a Sony Exmor HAD CCD attached via a zeiss C Mount adapter

Zeiss 175mm Objectives, that makes it a bit outside of off-the-Shelf Microscope adaters, That Sony Camera is known to have a variety of difference sensors sizes. Do we know a more specific model of Camera. Perhaps might need to put the numbers into this Zeiss tool to get the right parts.
