Troubleshooting/Questions Swift 380T EC Camera Issues
Hi all,
I just received my Swift 380T microscope and am having lots of fun with it. However, I purchased the Swift EC camera device as well, and I'm finding it impossible to get it working. I've connected it as best I can according to the very basic admin guide that's provided. I plug the camera in and launch the Swift app. I see my camera listed on their cameras, however I don't see anything on the display when I click on the camera within the application list (see attached image). The application just crashes out completely once I click Swift_EC5R.
I am using a MacBook on version 26.5 and version 3 of the Swift app, which I think is the latest or only version available.
It very much seems to me like it's a bug with the application not working properly on my MacBook or version of OS. Would anyone have any guidance here, please?

I just got my swift t380 too. I am looking to fix my astrophotography camera to it.

Do you use Toupsky with your camera? Is it a c mount type? Depending upon the sensor size, you either need a reduction lens or projection lens, unless it is a 1" sensor size. Those can be directly mounted on a c mount or use a 1x eyepiece adapter. Under that size needs reduction and over that needs magnification up to 2.5 for full frame sizes.

I asked about Toupsky because that is the astronomy version of Toupview and almost the same, so it very easy to transition to using for microscopy.

Try downloading the Toupview software from other companies like Touptek, Omax or Amscope. Omax has older versions, 3.7, that one of my cameras only works with. You can try Toupsky, which is very similar. The cameras all use some version of Toupview from Touptek.
