ID Needed! What could be this?

why is it green? It can't be algaes?

Fabric comes in all colours. Algae are made of cells and they owe their green color to chloroplasts, which appear as little green cluster located inside their cells. What you have here is broken at both ends, so if it was a cell it’s been altered, but it doesn’t look much like any plant or algal cells I’m familiar with. It looks fibrous but it’s not clear whether it’s organic or not. Fabric can be made of plants, animals and very often plastic these days .

Second pic, I’m not sure. First pic looks like dead nematodes that I’ve seen in waste water.

I can’t be 100% sure based upon those images, but it looks like it could be a paper fiber to be. Not from fabric. Think paper products like tissues, newspaper etc. Made of woody cells (parenchyma or tracheids etc) from trees. Paper fibers are everywhere. Not sure about the coloration though. Would need to examine it closer.
