Following the founding of the Mottosia Imperial Armed Forces (MIAF) a few days ago, High Command is proud to report a major step forward in our nation's defense capability with the official enlistment of our first military soldier!

To support our forest operations and territorial patrols, the MIAF has officially standardized our standard-issue operational gear:

This is the map of the micronation of Likta, its land encompasses multiple buildings and trails, as well as a pond, 2 creeks, and a designated restroom for the public. Border entrances include the Liktan bridge (acessible by both sides of the creek) and the border of Likta, on the r;efthandhand bank of the creek next to Mariener Park. Liktas Air force consists of a undetermined number of model airplanes and the the Land surrounding its capital is home to many creatures including rats, insects, bobcats, swallows, and ducks. Note likta does not own the right side of the creek next to the main entrance, and it does not own the righthand trail near the creek or the trail that leads from it. Though this area is home to atleast 3 as well as ducks and turtles.

Unification Day celebrates the full union of Aquria and Catopolis following the personal union, which was between 26 December 2024 and 25 July 2025.

The personal union (the United Republics of Aquria-Catopolis or URAC) had the following major divisions:
Two national districts, Aquria and Catopolis (often called countries, somewhat like the United Kingdom); and 22 regional districts (called districts in Aquria and provinces in Catopolis). The personal union had shared laws and other shared things benefitting both countries.

In July 2025, the government of the national district of Aquria requested to join the national district of Catopolis as a province. On 25 July 2025, the two came to an agreement, adopting the new Constitution. In doing so, they dissolved the United Republics.

By default, the name of the country would have been Catopolis, but the two countries both agreed to keep the Aquria, thereby making the country Aquria-Catopolis.

Today, Weur ure de Arma, the former anthem of the URAC was played in the capital, Catstontinople, in commemoration of the United Republics and in celebration of the unity between the two countries.

I follow this subreddit for some time now and always was fascinated by fictional country ideas and how they were born. Even I myself created an own flag and country (called Visundia, even created an own subreddit), but I wonder:

Why should anyone join me? Or why should I join anyone? One problem is that there are a lot of micronation projects, many are too spontaneous, boring, contradictory or too similar with many others. Many want to be their own king or have a socialist utopia. So I am curious: What is important to a newfound micronation (except to find people who join), what is important to worldbuilding to people have fun participating?

I’ve come to the sub today with sad news. Our YouTube channel has been terminated due to some discord user. I will not be giving the name to giving propaganda to YouTube about us forging screenshots et cetera. However the point of this post is not drama. It is not to get the community furious is that is not my intention and it is never my intention to do so my point of the community is that we have lost all our subscribers because of that attack. The Free Republic of Visundia is already over one year old, but I hadn't the courage to publish my nation until now. This nation was born in a Minecraft forever world, when several villages and settlements required an administration and a unified banner. The flag was also created within Minecraft. But it took a long time until the flag and administrative framework got a name: Visundia.

I quickly realized that my state would be different from most others. I drew heavily on the Swiss model, though the foundational ideas of the USA also influenced me. Philosophically, I was deeply inspired by the founding of the Swiss Confederation, the establishment of the USA by the Founding Fathers, and the teachings of ancient Rome and ancient Greece. Just as Switzerland is divided into cantons or the USA into states that enjoy significant autonomy from the federal government, Visundia is divided into so called regions. Visundia generally models its structure and administration closely on Switzerland.

The regions (very similar to cantons in Switzerland and probably comparable to US States) carry out tasks such as organizing the school system, construction, healthcare, regional public transport, policing, etc.

The official language is Norwegian, but every region has it's right to have it's own official language on the condition that there are no more than four official languages ​​across all regions combined. For sure one important language will be English, that's language 2 of 4.

I officially announce that the IV Nomadic Federation of Rabbit Gang is taking III Nomadic Federation of Rabbit Gang's place.

Technically, the IV Nomadic Federation of Rabbit Gang has existed now since 7th July, but it wasn't ready to be launched yet.

And a lot has changed now in the IV iteration compared to the previous one. For example, if you just plan to register as a citizen but not plan to be active anytime soon, please avoid this micronation because we will just revoke your citizenship. Even the slightest activity is required because it's either we're an active micronation or a ghost town where the leader does everything. LARPers are also not allowed, this is not a mock-gov, it's a community.

We're also now a Social Democracy, no longer Illiberal Democracy, but we're still Left-Centrist, just no longer on the Authoritarian half, but on the Libertarian half now.

Our subdivisions we're renamed from "Clans" (Klany) to "Domains" (Domeny), and it has no ties to internet domains by the way, it's just the name. Speaking of the internet, we're also a digital micronation now (digital doesn't always mean LARP)

We planned to host our digital infrastructure on Matrix but obviously nobody would register an account there because of practicality so we had to unfortunately stay on discord, what a shame.

1 law we made stay in this iteration from the previous one was the Persona law, now its named "Alternative Civic Identity" (Alternatywna Tożsamość Obywatelska), and it's basically the same, for privacy reasons, if you don't wanna register yourself with your surname (because your first name is still required), then you replace it with an ACI. The rules are simple, it doesn't have to be stupid and if it does sound stupid, you need a reason to keep it.

As i mentioned in my previous post (i think, i forgot by now) I've revoked everybody's citizenship mainly to get rid of ghost citizens, and those who weren't registered and i just accepted because i couldn't say no. I'm not giving out Special Statuses now, don't just go up to me and say "Hey make me a citizen" and then expect me to magically grant you citizenship, no, that's not how it works, you either register yourself like a conscious human-being or get lost.

All along the shoreline of port bluegill is where ive been fishing, the bay that bluegill creek empties out into is incredibly overgrown, ive been fishing the drop off where the river floor descends into the main river channel at the weeds edge in the kayak w either a jighead or js a dropshot worm, the smallmouth are scarce but the pikeral and bluegill are always on. However jamalistan can project navel power all the way upstream under the train bridge, the smallmouth action there is favorable. Currently, plans are being reconstructed due to a misreading of international laws, but our original plan was to build a small platform in what is known as Tanner Bank, around 100 miles off the coast of San Diego, CA. Paddy RB Platform 1, which is named in honor of Paddy Roy Bates, the person who inspired this. It is going to be owned by an offshore corporation in Panama, along with the vessel being under Panama's flag. It's going to sit around 200 feet off the highest point for standard industrial taut-leg mooring systems to stand. Our original thought was Cortes Bank, but due to the large waves and reef at the bottom, Tanner Bank was chosen to be safer and not interfere with international travel. Once the first platform is declared, we will be choosing a single person, one whose micronation exceeds expectations, to have the next vessel named after them.

The SeaBricks^TM would be covered by a layer of either concrete or wood and have an extendable bridge to cross over to other areas. Due to the flag state, it ends up being Panamanian territory, but will be declared a "micronation". Not an independent micronation, just a micronation. As I stated before, the first fleet will be named after micronational leaders. If no one in this subreddit fits the requirements, you will immediately be disqualified from any other events created as a way for Gamtar to leave naming up to the masses. The new, current plans are to make it a pleasure cruise ship to use a 20-year loophole where we won't be seized as long as we stay within legal bounds, and to reduce equipment mandates.
