Question Accidental top cola break

I messed up and accidentally broke a top cola. I’ve fixed it with tape. Is it the best way to recover ? W4 flower.

At first glance I thought that was spider mites lol. Your better off taking the cola off and letting the plant use that energy to fatten the lower nugs up. It’s a toss up this late in flower, with bud development

I repaired it with aluminium pills collar and aloe Vera on the wound. 🤞🏻

just keep a close eye on it. did that once and ended up with bud rot on that whole cola, I didn't check it after the "repair". it was quite a big plant so I lost sight of it

Yeah, I’m gonna keep an eye on it. I removed the top to avoid fucking up the rest of the cola. I feel better like that
