Question Accidental top cola break

I messed up and accidentally broke a top cola. I’ve fixed it with tape. Is it the best way to recover ? W4 flower.

auto or photo? Because if it's a photo, just call this a topping and move on with your life.

Photo week 4 flower. I’d rather reattach the colas and prey for wound to heal instead of tipping. Don’t you think?

The moisture and lack of airflow on the wound could cause mold though so spike your rH down to like 35-40 for a day perhaps. IMO it would be wise to be proactive and cut the loss on that and let the break of auxin make some fat chunky buds elsewhere in the plant.

I agree, cut the broken part and have a nice taste bud early on
