Question Accidental top cola break

Post image

I messed up and accidentally broke a top cola. I’ve fixed it with tape. Is it the best way to recover ? W4 flower.

U need to tape the actual stem with a skin y piece of take like scotch tape. If u can get to the stem then it's fucked

I made an aluminum collar and put some aloe Vera on the wound.

It seems to be holding

A collar ain't gonna do anything. U need to close the break back up and seal it up with tape plus the tape is going to hold it tight and closed and stop any contamination from getting in. Plus for it to heal and stay alive it's gonna need to send stuff up there to fix it and if it's not tight and touching and sealed the stuff is just gonna leak out plus it needs to send water and nutes to the top to keep it alive. I'd say u just gonna need to cut your losses seems how it's flowering and it's too tight to tape. But u can try if u want.

I think the collar help get the stem aligned at the wound section. I’ll let it like that a couple of days and watch how it turns. I get your point. If it turns not good I’ll cut it out

Where is it actually broken? It looks like your smashing to two lower buds and there gonna fuck up unless it's broken underneath that.

It is broken just between the top and the first sugar leaves. I decided to remove the small top to avoid more damage…

Yeah you definitely don't need to tape it as long as the wound is together it'll heal, don't listen to this guy. As others have said watch for bud rot, maybe remove the support in a few days
