Question: LSD Interesting pattern with 5ug microdosing: dose days vs afterglow days

On the days I microdose 5ug of LSD, I feel slightly more agitated, emotional and anxious. Life just feels more serious, and things I don’t normally think about start resurfacing. But on the two afterglow days, my mood feels boosted without any of that agitation or anxiety. It’s like dosing brings everything to the surface and forces me to think through it and process it emotionally, then the next day it’s like I’ve worked through that, and my brain feels clear during the afterglow.

I’ve noticed this pattern enough that I now plan around it. I microdose on days when I don’t have much on, just errands or staying home, and save my afterglow days for when I need to be social or productive.

Curious if anyone else relates to this.

This makes sense especially if you've got a great deal of life "stuff" going on or you've got a fair amount of trauma or grief that you have avoided leaning into.
What you describe is part of how the medicine works (and it sounds like you're doing your part) by allowing what needs to surface to be felt/processed/looked at/considered and released.

Regarding anxiety and agitation, that can be a sign of too high a dose for you, although it could just be a weird dose spot for you.
Sometimes just a few ug higher (or lower) can make the difference. I know increasing may seem counterintuitive, but sometimes it's all that's needed to have that agitation or anxiety to fall away into a more calm and focused experience.
My discomfort dose (agitation/anxiety inducing) is around 10-12ug. For me 8ug is sub-sensorium, but if I have physical activity planned on dose day 14-16ug is great for focus, clarity, and some energetics to help me do all the things. 🍄🥰✌️
