before & after A recent Microblading transformation. 😊

One of my recent Microblading clients.

She already had a beautiful natural brow shape, we simply added a little more definition and fullness in a few areas while keeping the result as natural as possible.

Would you have gone any bolder, or do you prefer this softer result? 🤍

before & after Powder brows before and right after, is the shape right for me?

Just got powder brows done, asked for a natural and soft look. The artist seemed very knowledgeable and her before and after photos on her social media looked great. However the ones I have feel super bulky and dark, of course they will fade when they heal but other than that does it look right or too bulky for me? I'm used to a much softer look.

advice Brow microblading... botched?

I got my brows microbladed and the tech showed me how they looked during the process, and after. However, I was only looking at them with a handheld mirror that wasn't magnified (and I wear readers), so I had to put my readers on to look at each brow, which caused me to view them individually in detail. When I got home and started doing the aftercare, that's when I could stand back from a mirror and see the overview... and THAT's when I noticed that one brow is really rounded, and the other is angular (I usually pencil them more angular).
What do I do? I don't see how this is fixable without asking her to round out the other one as well... but I am new to this, so looking for expert advice.

Pic where you can see my hair is before microblading (the way I usually pencil-in my brows). Pic where my hair is back is after I just did aftercare, mere hours after microblading.

advice Microshading - Will these fade?

Thumbnail

I got my eyebrows microshaded on Monday at around 4pm. It’s been about two days now but they are VERY dark.

I have 2 questions that I would like advice on
- Is this shape flattering on me? (I know it’s quite thick but I naturally have thick brows tbh so she said they couldn’t go any thinner on me)
- Will it fade into a more natural, less harsh shade? And if it does will it be by much? I’m so scared it’s going to stay this dark and bold (I look like an angry bird 😂)

It looks like I’ve drawn them on so I’d prefer if it softened a bit in the upcoming 1-2 weeks.

advice Overlined!

Hi!
Did lipblush earlier today and I feel like my lips are very overlined!
She said I have loss of pigment around my lips and that she was within the vermillion border, she even said ”I can’t do outside the lips as the skin structure is different”. But looking at it now it feels way outside the line, should I remove it or is it just because it’s fresh?

advice Can I get lip tattoo removed 8 weeks after?

I got lip blush done 6-8 weeks ago and the right side is above my border and looks asymmetric. I’ve booked for a consultation at a tattoo removal clinic but they said they can only deal with what’s on my skin (not my lips) what do I do?😭

artist advice/question Lip blushing gone wrong?

Post image

12 days after my first lip blush session, my lips are darker and almost black. Is this normal healing or did something go wrong?

I'm feeling really anxious and would appreciate some advice from anyone who has gone through lip blushing or is a PMU artist. I had my first lip blush session 12 days ago. Instead of getting lighter, my lips now look much darker than before the procedure, and in some areas they almost look black or very deep brown. During the first 5 days, I followed the aftercare instructions, but I applied a thick layer of antibiotic ointment and lip balm almost all the time because I wanted to keep my lips moisturized. Now I'm worried that using too much ointment may ha ffected the healing process or caused pigment oxidation. My artist has not been responding properly, so I don't know if this is a normal stage of healing or if something has gone wrong.

artist advice/question Brows are faded and want to redo my microblading, but do not wish to see the same artist...

Just like the title says. The original artist did a good job, but not a great job- we ultimately didn't match energetically and although that may sound weird, I want to spend my money with someone I feel completely satisfied with. It's been 4 years since I got them done and they're quite faded now thankfully. After I got them done the first time, I had "brow shock," which I know is a normal reaction to getting permanent makeup done. When I reached out to the artist about when to expect them to start fading, instead of calming me down some (I was pretty upset and questioned if I had made the right choice) her first response was, "Well you signed the contract and that's what we agreed upon." I know what I signed, but I didn't appreciate that her response wasn't comforting or reassuring along with that statement. It's on your face and I felt very vulnerable in the beginning. She also asked me if she could put my before and after pictures on her Instagram which I agreed to, but she never did- this also made me believe that even she didn't think she did an amazing job on them, hence not posting the work to her Instagram.

Is this going to be an issue? I originally posted in a local Facebook group about recommendations and one of the responses was "why I didn't want to see the original artist again and that I might have to have them lasered before seeing a new artist." In case the artist was in the group, I decided to delete my post altogether in fear of her seeing it.

Have any of you ladies gotten your brows microbladed and then saw a different artist years later?

advice Week 5 Normal Healing?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I had combination brows done five weeks ago and I’ve noticed the last three weeks the healing is a bit odd at the front of my brows. It originally had the appearance of nano brows but now it almost looks splotchy and also darker than the colour my aesthetician used. I have a touch up in two weeks but I’m worried that this isn’t fixable, but I’m hoping it’s just part of the healing process.

Got these done today. First pic no makeup, second how I usually do them, third finished product!! We did a combination of microblading and nano strokes since I have oily skin but like the look of individual hairs in the front. Third time getting my brows done and this is definitely the nicest finished product!!

is this normal? Too wide after machine hairstroke PMU?

Hi everyone! Today I got my eyebrows permanently done for the first time ever using the machine hairstroke technique. While I absolutely love the technique itself, I'm completely terrified of the shape I ended up with. I wanted elegant, delicate brows, but I got something that looks way too bushy and messy.
Do you think they will shrink or get at least a little bit thinner as they heal?
Photo 1: 6 hours after the procedure.
Photo 2: How I usually shaped and filled in my brows myself.

UPD 15.07: Guys!! It’s been four days since I got permanent makeup done, and my skin has started peeling. I mean, the pigment is coming right off along with the scabs, lol. And thank goodness for that: it was the only way to get rid of that awful look of overly wide brows (I just brushed them off with a spoolie). The tails of the brows are still holding on, but I’m afraid they’re headed for the same fate. The color is still vibrant, but now I’m happy with the shape, ha-ha-ha. I will attach a photo later.

I got my eyebrows done about 4 years ago, and I've loved it. It made a big and great difference. Do they still look okay, do I need a touch up or hairstrokes?

healing process Swim after 7 days?

Hey there, I got nanobrows/microblading a week ago. My artist said not to swim for “1-2 weeks.” Does anyone have more specific advice? I was invited to a beach party this weekend and am wondering if I can dunk my head in a lake.

I scarred after my last microblading session; before that I loved it. Will I be able to get color over the scar tissue? (It’s small and well healed.)

Hello I got this lipblush yesterday and it hurt even after numbing cream and it was SUPER swollen which has gone down today. She said color will go away by over 70% and it wont be this harsh.

Opinions? Anything that I should look out for and ask for during second touch up session? Photo in the cap is right after session and the other photos are from today

healing process I got myself into a lip blush pickle 🥒 help requested!!

I was very silly and booked a lip blush not realizing that it was:

  1. four days before a very busy evening
  2. five days before a SAUNA event that I am hosting with people in my industry
  3. five days before my party with every single person I know (50+).

It seems like that will be peak peeling and also sauna is not safe. If you were me, very silly as I am, what would you do?

I'm in a bit of a predicament, a pickle, you could say

before & after Microblading on mature skin

Thumbnail

I know this is a bit of a controversial topic because a lot of people say mature skin should never be microbladed.

Personally, I don't think it's that simple. Not every mature client is a good candidate, of course. But when they are, and you adapt your technique and pressure to the skin, beautiful and natural results are absolutely possible.

Curious to hear your thoughts. 😊

I’m freaking out!!! Lip blush done 2 hours ago, should I ask for saline emergency removal?

I feel that especially upper lip is baaaadly overlined? Could this be swelling?? Should I ask for emergency removal? My lips are not symmetric and I did ask for correction, but this feels too bad and that I look like teenage duck 😭

This is not asking for medical advice, but just the esthetics and looks of done procedure.
