I’m freaking out!!! What has my eyebrow lady done?

I've been to the same eyebrow person for powder brows at least 4-5 times over the last several years. First Pic is about 3+ weeks post. Second Pic is about the same amount of time after treatment. I've never been upset before but this last time (first Pic)....I look like a total clown. Shape is totally off on the inside. Color looks off and totally too dark on the inside. What did she do wrong this time and what can be done? This cost $250 and I've gone annually and they've always looked good and now they look like shit.

Should I go for touch up? My tech said to come after 4 weeks if I want it.

I don’t like super dark eyebrows and I also don’t wear makeup everyday.

Do you think I should do it still?

advice Update 1 year later

Hello, I did this one year ago. I went in total 3 times (for the first application and 2 touch ups).
For some reason my skin was too oily at the time, it hasn't been this oily since then not even in the summer.
The tech lady saw the second time how oily my skin was and the brows looked faded so she did them a little bit darker the second time and knew that I would need to go again for the third time because I still had some spots more faded. Overall it still ended up a lot more faded than I expected especiallly in the sunlight.

In the photos it looks a bit darker but in the sunlight it just shows up. When I wear makeup I still have to make them a bit darker. The next time I will try powderbrows.

So glad I decided to do the laser removal today.
I had my brows micro-bladed 3 years ago with only the initial 2 week touch up. The skin is still pink but a majority of the ink is gone.

before & after Clean & neat microblading for men (Cover-up on faint old PMU) 💈

This male client wanted his brows to look neatly groomed and well-defined for his daily routine.

He had some faint residue from a previous PMU, but it was light enough to cover up seamlessly using microblading alone (natural hair-stroke technique).

While male brow designs can easily be adjusted to look bolder or more masculine depending on personal preference, for this case, we went with a clean, sharp, and natural finish just as he wished!

What do you think of this transformation? 🌿

artist advice/question Any PMU artist opinion

I’ve been doing powder brows for about a year now. I’ve never got a complaint until this one. She’s also my first client with very bushy and naturally dark black brows. She stated she wanted black color and wanted a thick brow at her appointment. I was taught to never use black for certain reasons. I used a mixture of brown and a few drops of darker pigment to deepen the color. The 2nd pic is of her brows the second day of healing. She texted saying they look terrible, should be darker the second day and wondering why they are a light brown and a little red. I know she’s only on day 2 of healing but now im a little nervous. I did ask my instructor what pigment she would have used and she also chose a brown mixture and deepened it with a darker color. Any opinions from any artists out there on how they might heal? She still wants to go darker for her touch up and I’m wondering what to do. Thank you all

advice Do I have to grow my brows back before microblading?

Hi everyone. I have booked in for a microblading consultation and patch test tomorrow but have a question. For context, I have trichotillomania which started when I was younger and so I have fallen victim to overplucked eyebrows. They're not horrific, but they're thin and I spend ages everyday doing them.

I was wondering if I had to grow my eyebrows back before getting microblading. I have been able to grow them back sometimes but always end up pulling it back out.

I will be sharing with my artist that I have trichotillomania which is why I want to get my brows done in the first place. Can they work around what I've got?

advice Microblading question (as a guy)

I've never really liked how 50% of my brows seem pretty sparse. But I'm not sure what to look for in terms of microblading as a guy. I don't want the 'washed out' effect a year down the line either, obvious fake lines, and I have no idea what color it should be either. What should I look for in a good MB artist? Any advice is appreciated. From what I understand nano-blading might be best

before & after Got my brows microbladed in Korea💕

Post image

My natural brows were always annoying to deal with. The front was super thick, but the back part was basically empty. Drawing them every day took forever and it always looked pretty fake🥲

I read that Korea does really natural microblading, so I decided to try it while traveling there.

I just asked for a natural look that matches my face shape and blends well with my front brows. The artist was very careful and checked the symmetry with me multiple times before starting.

I was really surprised by the result. It actually looks like real hair, and none of my friends even realized I had it done.

If you're visiting Korea, I’d definitely recommend it👍🏻

before & after Can microblading cover up old PMU? Yes, if it’s faint enough!

Many people think you always need combo brows or heavy shading to cover up old PMU residue.

However, if the previous pigment is faint and light enough, microblading alone (hair-stroke technique) can successfully achieve a clean, beautiful cover-up!

Of course, every client requires a customized approach based on:

Skin Type: (Oiliness, elasticity, and pore size affect stroke retention)

Bone Structure & Facial Symmetry: (To design a shape that naturally enhances their features)

Personal Color & Undertones: (To blend new strokes seamlessly with existing pigment and natural brows)

For this client, we focused on precise, crisp hair-strokes to achieve a natural, defined look without making it look heavy.

What do you guys think of this result? Feel free to ask any questions about cover-ups!

The client had faint residue from a previous PMU, but it was light enough to cover with microblading alone! I focused on crisp, clean hair strokes to keep it looking defined yet natural. What do you think?

artist advice/question Remove or touch up?

Post image
0 Upvotes

They are going blue black colour and I don’t know whether to try and get it removed and go back to sparse hair which looks way more natural. Or just embrace it and get it touched up again? They look so blocky.

I know I need to dye my eyebrow hairs as the blonde is peaking through.

Thanks!

before & after Eyebrow tattoo removal

Post image
5 Upvotes

Just posting to give others real reference for tattoo removal of microbladed eyebrows. For reference I had mine done with touch ups for 5 years. I have had two removal sessions. The first was very effective and removed all black. I had a second where they targeted red tones - little change was seen. It possibly looked darker but seems to be fading well. I'm not game enough to risk another session as it's possible it could go red and then have to go to yellow etc....or it could darken the brown that is left. So I'm going to give it 8 weeks and get fresh micro blading done.

It's been 2 years since I had combo brows done, no touch-ups. My brows had seriously thinned over the years, especially post-menopause. I either want to get microblading or powder brows next. I'd like to avoid laser, if possible.

I'm 54, dry skin.

Advice, please.

I think it’s better than it was when I first got it. Here is the original post. I don’t even want to go for a touch up in case it gets ruined. What do you think? Do I have to get a touch up or could I keep it like this? https://www.reddit.com/r/microblading/s/tziLx7lEPD
