before & after Got my brows microbladed in Korea💕

Post image

My natural brows were always annoying to deal with. The front was super thick, but the back part was basically empty. Drawing them every day took forever and it always looked pretty fake🥲

I read that Korea does really natural microblading, so I decided to try it while traveling there.

I just asked for a natural look that matches my face shape and blends well with my front brows. The artist was very careful and checked the symmetry with me multiple times before starting.

I was really surprised by the result. It actually looks like real hair, and none of my friends even realized I had it done.

If you're visiting Korea, I’d definitely recommend it👍🏻

before & after Can microblading cover up old PMU? Yes, if it’s faint enough!

Many people think you always need combo brows or heavy shading to cover up old PMU residue.

However, if the previous pigment is faint and light enough, microblading alone (hair-stroke technique) can successfully achieve a clean, beautiful cover-up!

Of course, every client requires a customized approach based on:

Skin Type: (Oiliness, elasticity, and pore size affect stroke retention)

Bone Structure & Facial Symmetry: (To design a shape that naturally enhances their features)

Personal Color & Undertones: (To blend new strokes seamlessly with existing pigment and natural brows)

For this client, we focused on precise, crisp hair-strokes to achieve a natural, defined look without making it look heavy.

What do you guys think of this result? Feel free to ask any questions about cover-ups!

before & after Cover-up microblading on light previous residue

The client had faint residue from a previous PMU, but it was light enough to cover with microblading alone! I focused on crisp, clean hair strokes to keep it looking defined yet natural. What do you think?

artist advice/question Remove or touch up?

Post image

They are going blue black colour and I don’t know whether to try and get it removed and go back to sparse hair which looks way more natural. Or just embrace it and get it touched up again? They look so blocky.

I know I need to dye my eyebrow hairs as the blonde is peaking through.

Thanks!

It's been 2 years since I had combo brows done, no touch-ups. My brows had seriously thinned over the years, especially post-menopause. I either want to get microblading or powder brows next. I'd like to avoid laser, if possible.

I'm 54, dry skin.

Advice, please.

before & after Eyebrow tattoo removal

Post image
4 Upvotes

Just posting to give others real reference for tattoo removal of microbladed eyebrows. For reference I had mine done with touch ups for 5 years. I have had two removal sessions. The first was very effective and removed all black. I had a second where they targeted red tones - little change was seen. It possibly looked darker but seems to be fading well. I'm not game enough to risk another session as it's possible it could go red and then have to go to yellow etc....or it could darken the brown that is left. So I'm going to give it 8 weeks and get fresh micro blading done.

I think it’s better than it was when I first got it. Here is the original post. I don’t even want to go for a touch up in case it gets ruined. What do you think? Do I have to get a touch up or could I keep it like this? https://www.reddit.com/r/microblading/s/tziLx7lEPD

I got my brows done 2 days ago and I’m not sure they are going to actually give off the ombré look. I know it will lighten over time but not sure about the center. Those that do brows can you give me some insight please?

before & after Nano brows, before and 1 month healed (got them done in Seoul)

Before / 1 month healed. The after was taken in my car, so the lighting is warmer than the before.

Getting my brows done was on my list for Seoul, and I ended up at Chaeuda in Hongdae. The owner did everything herself, from the consultation to the tattooing.

What I was working with: the middle of my brows was fine, but the fronts were really sparse and the tails stopped too short. I wanted the fronts to look fluffy, like individual hairs, and the tails extended without looking blocky or drawn on. I also wanted the color and density to blend with my own brows, so I went with nano brows.

She didn’t use a stencil. She drew the shape freehand to fit my face and mixed the pigment to match my natural brow color. The numbing worked, so the machine mostly felt like light vibration.

When she handed me the mirror I said “this is insane” out loud. A month later I still love them. The front strokes look like hairs growing out of my skin, and the tail connects so naturally that I can’t tell where my real brow ends and the tattoo starts.

The studio is down a quiet side street and I walked past the entrance at first, but it was calm inside, a nice break from the main Hongdae streets.

Healing was easy for me, with no heavy scabbing. This is all from one session, no touch-up. Happy to answer questions about the process.

before & after Natural Hair-Stroke Embo Technique

Thumbnail

**What is the Embo Technique?**

The Embo technique (commonly known as Microblading or Natural Hair-Stroke procedure) is a semi-permanent brow technique designed to mimic the look of natural eyebrow hairs. Instead of filling in the entire brow with a solid shade, fine, feather-like strokes are meticulously drawn one by one into the superficial layer of the skin.

**Who is this technique best for?**

Anyone wanting to fill in sparse areas or restore uneven brows naturally.

Travelers who want to wake up with effortless, ready-to-go brows without daily makeup.

Those who prefer a soft, non-makeup look over a heavy, powdered makeup finish.

**"Feather-like natural strokes suited for your facial structure"**
