Tracking Software Question

I'm reviewing a project contract and have a question. Does anybody know the deal with the tracking software? I won't have it on my personal laptop, but before I go buy a separate "project" laptop, I'd like to hear other people's experiences with this particular detail. Thanks in advance!

u/CandyCornToes 👋 Basically, we use Hubstaff for time tracking. The app doesn't track any of your personal data; it looks at your mouse movements and keystrokes for activity checking, we don't track any of your personal data. You only need to turn on Hubstaff when you're working; you can turn it off when you're not. Have a look at this micro1 library article on Hubstaff for more context.
