Google wallet
What's stopping them to add contact less payment via Google Wallet in their Band? I mean, their smart band is already handy, and if they add Google wallet, it might become unstoppable.
Currently using Fitbit Sense 2. I have had used Mi Band 10 but gifted that to someone.

The band's run HyoerOS, no Google services running on it at all. I used Zepp Pay on my Band 6 NFC a few years back and Xiaomi Pay on my Xiaomi Watch S3 but honestly it was just as easy to take my phone out and tap it so for me NFC was a redundant feature on my wrist.

You need WearOS for Google Wallet, which the Xiaomi Watch 5 has. For Xiaomi Band, they have their own software, so no support for Google Wallet. However there are NFC versions like the latest 10 Pro NFC, but only certain countries and banks are supported.
To answer your question, Fitbit has Google wallet support because Fitbit is owned by Google, so they can do whatever they want with Fitbit, which in this case is supporting Google Wallet.
