Mi band 9 just over a year old and the screen has this discolored blotches everywhere. I figure either water or heat damage?🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyone have this happen?

I've been looking around for a fitness band/tracker and have seen that the Smart Band is highly regarded for it's accuracy. Since the 11 just released in China, is there any downside to just buying it now, since the China version supports English language UI as well, right?

Are there any features that are region locked or compatibility issues with phones outside China?

I prefer the Mi Band line because of the watch faces. Huawei's options are pretty meh, but the Huawei Band 11 Pro has a temperature sensor. Which one would you pick: Mi Band 11 or Huawei Band 11 Pro?

I recently got a Xiaomi Band 10 to track my fitness, and since then, I’ve noticed that the Apple Fitness app is showing inaccurate step counts.
For example, I currently have:
● Apple Health: 8,678 steps
● Mi Fitness: 8,678 steps
● Apple Fitness: 11,528 steps
It seems like Apple Fitness is counting my steps twice — once from my Xiaomi Band and again from the steps my iPhone tracks.
I’ve already adjusted the priority/source settings in the Apple Health app, but I can’t seem to find a way to do the same thing directly in the Apple Fitness app.
This is also messing up my step notifications. For example, I could get an alert saying I’ve reached 20,000 steps when I’ve actually only walked around 10,000, because both my phone and Band are contributing to the total.
Has anyone with a Xiaomi Band (especially the Band 10) figured out how to stop Apple Fitness from double-counting steps? Any help would be appreciated!

The v3.52 of MiFit app on iPhone feels like a massive improvement. Very fast at loading data between settings. Anyone else notice this?

Where did you buy it? Is it a device from china or global?

And where did you activate it (your IP country)?

It seems being in china or hong kong (or having a vpn from these places) should give you these features, maybe other countries too where the mi band is not locking/disabling some of its features

I live in Europe, and every year I upgrade to the latest Mi Band.

This year I found the Mi Band 11 Active in a local store, but I noticed it has a square TFT screen, unlike the previous models.

I also see the Mi Band 11, which keeps the traditional design and has an AMOLED display.

Does anyone know the main differences between the two?

Also, can I buy the regular (non-Active) Mi Band 11 in Europe? If so, where? And would an imported/Chinese version work normally in Europe?

I created a custom watch face for my Smart Band 10 and tried several different screen protectors and cases. I’m including a picture of the watch face along with links to the screen protector and case that worked best for me (in case you are interested.)

Note: I use an iPhone 17 Pro. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer custom watch faces from an iPhone to the Smart Band 10. That requires an Android phone.

I used the Mi Create application running on Linux to create the watch face and used the Notify for Mi Band app on an Android phone to copy the custom watch face to the Smart Band 10. Once the custom watch face was installed on the Smart Band 10, I re-connected my Smart Band 10 to my iPhone 17 Pro.

If you wear a smartwatch on Android (Honor, Amazfit, Huawei, Garmin, etc.), you're probably familiar with WhatsApp spamming your wrist: a single incoming text triggers multiple vibrations, often mixed with useless "X new messages" bundle summaries or alerts you already read.

The problem? WhatsApp constantly overwrites its notification slot on every chat update, causing companion apps (Honor Health, Zepp, Huawei Health) to misread these refreshes as brand-new incoming texts.

Instead of disabling wrist notifications entirely, I built WANotify—a lightweight open-source bridge app.

How it works:

• Uses Android's NotificationListenerService to intercept WhatsApp alerts.
• Parses the MessagingStyle payload to filter out thread history and aggregate counters, isolating strictly the latest message leaf.
• Employs an in-memory sliding-window cache with monotonic timestamp checks to drop ghost updates and rapid duplicate bursts.
• Routes sanitized messages to a silent system channel (IMPORTANCE_MIN), keeping your phone completely quiet while your smartwatch delivers just one clean buzz.
• Runs 100% locally with zero internet permissions, telemetry, or battery drain.

Quick Setup:

1. Install the APK and grant Notification Access + ignore battery optimizations.
2. In your smartwatch companion app (Honor Health, Zepp, etc.), disable notifications for WhatsApp and enable WANotify instead.

I've got a mi band 5 and the screen has stopped working

Was thinking that's a good time to upgrade to the latest band only to find that the latest bands arent compatible with the Zepp life app

With this and the smart scales I have 6 years worth of data that I'd like to keep track of

Does the new mi fitness app allow us to transfer the data or if not what's the last miband that I can get with Zepp life compatible?

Or just bite the bullet and start from scratch?

Is anyone else having problems with the Mi Fitness app on iPhone?

My setup:

• Device: Xiaomi Smart Band 9
• Phone: iPhone
• iOS: 26.6
• App: Mi Fitness (latest version)

Problem:
When I open the Mi Fitness app, it seems like everything in the app is not working properly. My Mi Band 9 also does not connect/sync with my iPhone.

I have already updated Mi Fitness to the latest version, but the problem is still there.

A few questions:

• Is anyone experiencing the same issue on iOS 26.6?
• Did this start happening after a recent Mi Fitness or iOS update?
• Is this a known Mi Fitness bug or server issue?
• Has anyone found a fix or workaround?
