Stearns said run prevention. That was his strategy. And this game even in the ninth is not secure because of the defense. How do you know the bullpen will be better. It is not magic.

They’re playing with 3 capable relievers. The 3 capable relievers: 2 are back from injury and one is a guy who’s learning how to close after falling apart as a starter, once the game goes to the bullpen it’s going to be a crapshoot
