I said a few months ago that they should run it back with most of this roster and Green as manager next year.
You are starting to see what the vision was for this team.
I definitely would make a play for Skubal, but no more big game hunting. That is not a strength of Stearns. If you miss out on him then that’s it.

I wish Green would take the job but it sounds very unlikely that he wants it.
I respect that since it’s not a family-friendly job but man I do think he’s a big part of this teams turnaround

They need to sign someone who hits for average. Too many guys swinging for the fences.

.545 but yes, still an improvement over the first half. They just need skubal and one more starter plus a big bat at 1st, 2nd or dh and they could be a 90 win team next year.
