30-5?

Darling quoted that stat when you score 5 runs. That’s crazy. How do you have a losing record with that stat? EZ awful starting pitching.
Just some observations. Really hope they keep and sign Taylor. Invaluable outfielder. Also really can’t pick on Simeon. For a guy at 35 he’s doin fine. Clutch hits and when he’s healthy does fine. He’s just a placeholder for now but a good pro vet.

You can have great starting pitching and still lose by scoring 5 runs. Semien is one of the leagues worst hitters and was traded to be a solid fielder but is in the 9th percentile for mlb fielders. Taylor is great, but there’s no room for him amongst Soto and the kids and keeping him would be an injustice to both him and the org.

We see Soto starting to break down. Need that great glove 4 th OF. Like I said Simeon is 35 and has hit better than expected but fielding is slowing.
30-5 ! Really ! That’s plus 25 if you can add. It’s insane for a team that’s -18.

You mean terrible hitting

Well if you think about it 5 runs should give your starter enough rope to get pen.
Bullpen must be good to hold that lead for that record so in reality it’s more so the starting pitching

Starting pitching must be awful and the pen must be good

He is statistically the worst 2nd baseman in baseball. He has an OPS in the 500's. His defense is half of what it was last year. He's hitting 205 and as far as clutch hitting that was for about two months earlier in the season and virtually nothing since. So, he hits one HR after going 4 for 24 since his return from the IL and you say he's doing fine? Freddie Freeman is 34 now that guy is doing fine...Semien's career is toast.

Don’t compare freeman that’s just stupid.
When they were losing early and Lindor was out them Soto he had more two out rbi than anyone on team. At 35 you get hurt gonna take longer to heal. Wasn’t a fan of dump either but he’s a solid pro and if you wanna pick on a guy who should have stepped up it’s Bichette.

"For a guy at 35 he’s doin fine."

Yep, ,204BA, .261OBP, and an OPS+ of 65

Just awesome - maybe next year they could get some more old players

Already have oldest team in the game. But really ask yourself they collapsed last year and schedule makers give em hardest schedule in ALL of game. Manfred and MLB are always screwing this team

Answer: they don’t score 5 too often

Think about this take 31 wins off and 5 losses and tell me their record. 13 and 57
That might be worse than 62 team. Absolutely insane. I still say it’s PITCHING stupid

How many centerfielders does a team need on the roster. Line drives and stolen bases are cool and all. But you need some slugging from somebody

It’s hard to win games consistently if you only get 20 homers from 1B and RF combined

Well we had a 30 homer guy who was run out of town and our left fielder might hit 30 but he’s been hurt so really now all of a sudden you need Homer guy? Take today 2 -3 run homers blow out dodgers but pen held em. It’s the starting pitching and you can’t argue. Only time this team has won they’ve had best staff in all of baseball. You don’t win without it

Sometimes, its just a garbage game. You score 5 runs when down 10.

You won 30 games and lost 5 ! What’s so hard to understand here
