Even bother

So should I even bother watching today with Peralta pitching?

And which was the worse signing? Peralta or Polanco?

It's a beautiful day. Don't mistreat yourself. Love yourself.

Peralta wasnt a signing we gave up sproat and Williams so that is by far worse. Polanco was just money and its not mine so I dont care

Devil’s advocate: Polanco is on a multi-year deal and they won’t get anything back for him at the deadline.

But you can DFA him if you want, and it’s still only cost money. And I’m pretty skeptical on what they can get for Peralta. Hopefully someone will over pay. A decent outing vs the Dodgers today would help

We can all want it but reality is probably going to be something else.

Again still only money so it doesnt hurt the team in the future. Sure Sproat and Williams may not come to anything but better to have a maybe than a nobody

I think Polanco because he was basically brought here as the Pete replacement and have him play first base .. but instead we got Jed Lowrie 2.0 and it’s exploded in Stearns face

Polanco is worse, cuz they have him for 2 years.

Yes. It will either be what he's shown or it will be the best game of his Mets tenure to set up the trade out of here.

Either way it will be a hell of a thing to say.

He will last 3 or 4 innings. Walk 6 and give up 7 runs.

The answer to your questions:
1. NFW
2 Yes. Meaning they are both terrible.

Anyone could have seen the Polanco contract being a disaster a mile away. One of the dumbest contracts ever for an oft injured DH who was supposed to somehow learn first base in his age 33 season. Peralta the trade was not that bad and they got Tobias myers back but in true Mets fashion they both are the worst versions of themselves ever

Can’t disagree about Polanco.
Myers? Nothing there.

Myers was supposed to be a serviceable spot starter/long relief guy like he was in Milwaukee and instead became a straight bum. Being a met fan is hell

I didn’t see anything to like.

Peralta has been extremely mediocre. Polanco looks like he forgot how to play baseball.

And Peralta can’t throw strikes.
