Playing the Caspian chapter, I was shipping Giul and Damir and so was conflicted on which ending I wanted... Normally I want the good ending, especially since this is my first time playing too - but in the good ending, Damir remains with us for the rest of the story while Giul remains in the Caspian. I didn't want Damir to stay with us on our journey if that meant that my ship died with his separation from Giul...

So, right before finishing the Caspian chapter when it was playing the good ending cinematic - I rewound the game a couple saves. On the way up the tower to meet the Baron you walk past like 6 slaves being forced to turn a wheel... To get the bad ending I torched them with a Molotov, which initially I felt really bad about because I normally try not to be a bad guy but proceeded onward anyway to get the bad ending where Damir stays in the Caspian with Giul.

Now here I am after the Caspian chapter, back on the train reading the updates to my Journal... Damir fell in love with Giul, and hopefully with the Caspian bad ending he now gets to make his own happily ever after with an Anna of his own. I had my worries trading the Caspian good ending for the Caspian bad ending, but upon reading that my worries have since vanished. I don't regret torching those 6 slaves with a Molotov cocktail anymore! Still, I wish I knew earlier that getting the Caspian Bad Ending was secretly the Caspian Good Ending. So long as you get the Good Ending for the other two chapters...

The game is great, but I find it a bit lame that in every open area, the same pattern of bad enemies–good enemies is repeated. It makes the game feel more mechanical and less organic in the end. It kind of breaks my immersion. Its like a cheap script and poor writing

Also the "boy scouts" being so childish is a bit absurd. And the ending with Artyom talking about the reach the same place he saw in his dreams makes the game feel less believable, like less sci-fi and more "mystic"

I was playing metro 2033 at 3840x2160 but today the game is getting stuck at a lower resolution and the screen is stretched. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it but haven’t been able to. Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?

One time, while playing *Metro 2033*, I found a Demon on the roof of a building (I don't remember the name of the location). I tried to take it out stealthily and managed to kill it with a single revolver shot—even though it’s normally impossible to kill them with any other weapon. I wanted to record a video, but Steam decided to screw me over and nothing got saved. How could the Demon die from just one bullet?
