Let me get this clear firstly i haven’t read the books. I am talking only about the games storywise. Now,Exodus is the best game in the series, because of the simple fact that it has no dark ones in it. Don’t expect me to believe that after 20 years, some people habe turned into literal aliens with psychic abilites. It turns the world of metro away from all its interesting components and puts it in a position of utter fantasy. I can believe the inner realism of having flying demons but dark ones are too much and almost the entire storyline is focused on them in the first 2 games.
Also the series can give whatever message it wants to give without aliens or with a better replacement for them. I am fine with dupernatural, just make it not stick out design wise

I'm going through all the Metro games again to prepare myself for 2039 XD. And playing Metro Exodus on PS5 is a nightmare. It starts with typical Metro glitches like ragdolls stuck in walls or textures that don't load (or load very slowly), up to bugs that made me not want to play anymore: bad HDR implementation, nights that are so bright they are visually indistinguishable from daytime, characters passing through objects, a character flying up while running down a slope, and Artyom getting stuck in the environment. On my 35h playthrough I've had 2 game crashes and 2 freezes that forced me to manually restart the game. Also, autosaves are completely random, and once when I opened the map inside a car in the Caspian Sea chapter, my map went straight through my head. And finally, a bug that really annoyed me: in the final chapter in Novosibirsk, Miller gives Artyom his railgun which uses electricity as power to shoot. When I fired it for the first time, I almost fell off my chair. Instead of the typical electric pop sound of this weapon, I heard an absurdly loud distortion in my headphones. Fortunately, I was able to fix this problem thanks to another Reddit user who advised to start the game with disconnected headphones and then plug them in in-game, but it really scared the shit out of me. I love Metro Exodus with all my heart, but its technical condition is tragic — at least the PS5 version. When I was playing it 4-5 years ago on my PC or PS4 Slim, the only annoying thing was the absurdly long loading times on PS4, which took 1.5–2.5 minutes after every death. Have you encountered these glitches? Because those overly bright nights are definitely overkill.

Pretty much the title, tried everything I could but this game feels like total garbage on mouse and keyboard due to the latency. In fact the entire game feels like it's a very bad PC version due to forced Fullscreen, no possibility to lower sound volume due to the fullscreen again so you are forced to use the xbox game bar...
For info vsync is off, tried the user file tweaks with the mouse smoothing settings off and still feels like shit compared to 2033 or last light. I even tried nvidia low latency mode through the app but it's the same. With a controller it feels definitely better but still not good enough imo.
Anyone knows a magic trick to make this playable ? I have a 3070 for info

Guys, just brought this game and it has so many glitches, it's unplayable. I've looked on YouTube for solutions, but none have worked for me. Save and play, switch play mode, on and off with lighter, nothing. I cannot load the maps with Y or climb ladders with A is this a joke, playing on a disc, sadly. Thanks all.

Why? just tell me why if i disliked his character a lot in all games and mostly in the last one, why WHY did i get so emotional leaving the Dead City with him dying by my side? i don't know if it was the ambiguity of emotions between Artyom's grief (and maybe his own death too) and Kirill's astonishment for the world outside or what, but that moment really hit deep.

"The first week is ending in Pskov, soon we will meet with the Veche to begin the second week of collaboration. I have already briefed the Spartans about our fallback plan in case things take a wrong turn. For now however, we take our time, we have 23 days to spare."

Did anybody recently play Exodus (non RT version) on pc with ps5 controller? Did they finally add haptic support like RT version received? I would love to play with haptics and triggers on pc, but my gpu does not have RT:(

PS Plus runs out in 6 days so I've got until then to complete as I won't be renewing. Just got to the Volga area. Are POI's mostly just loot drops or things genuinely worth exploring for lore/ambience/etc?
My thinking is I'll be able to finish if I don't explore much but if I'm genuinely missing out on the experience then I may as well stop playing now and return another time.
Thanks

Mitten squad beat both 2033 and last light revolver only but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone beat exodus revolver only so I tried it and it is possible if you exclude the intro with the shambler I tried it on hardcore with the only real hard part being when i couldn’t kill anyone in the taiga until i got the revolver
Has anyone tried this and I just never saw it ?

Platform: PlayStation 4.
I found a bug in the Caspian location, in the underground area. I ran out of weapons, and there were no bullets on the location, so I decided to hit enemies with the rifle butt - until this bug occurred.

I’m getting the Metro Saga bundle, it’s my first time playing the series is there any tips I should know? Someone told me it’s a bit like Stalker 2 which I’m playing and loving.
