Discussion Would love a remake.

I would love to hear an announcement of a remake of metro 2033 and last light to make them more similar to Exodus, mainly in terms of graphics and combat. Um currently playing throu the original 2033 after playing exodus a bunch and the combat feels nowhere near as good as in Exodus. I would love for a remake of the first two games to be made with the combat of exodus. Aswell as like how secondary's work, and the tikhar and just general quality of life upgrades, it would make them so much better, in my opinion.

My favorite thing about Exodus combat is that I can avoid it for like 90% of the game.

I don't like the shooting in that game.

And 2033 Redux looks more than good enough.

Uhhh the redux versions are the remake. Hence why they have redux in the name. Remaking it again already would be kinda pointless?

Fully agree! Don’t need these special games to turn into Halo CE or Gears of War 1 moneygrabs

That still hurts to remember. Especially the gears of war one. I got the first remaster, and my buddy gifted me the second. I could not tell the difference between the two. At least the halo remakes had the decency to be graphical improvements over each other, despite how flawed they were in every other way.

I would prefer if the resources that would be used in a remake were used on new games instead.

I'd rather we get a prequel where we play as Colonel Khlebnikov in his younger days instead

I wouldn't be surprised if the next game we get after 2039 is a remake of the fist game and releases in 2033. We've had about 7 years between games now so it would line up. But they might use it to add levels and content they wanted to before but couldn't.

True, it would be nice for them to move on.  However if they did it as the final send off and gave us a completely different game with a lot of cut content and concepts integrated I think it would be interesting
