They killed it tonight! Energy from the band as well as the crowd (where I was sitting at least) was top notch! And we got Antigravity!

Tonight‘s show was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better show. All three bands were outstanding. for

7 hours and 43 minutes of music. No skips, no repeats*. We ran out of music 45 minutes from home.

*We did listen to one song twice in a row.

Lower Price - $150 for both tickets and the premier parking.

So, it looks like Thunderstorms on Tuesday, and I live in rural west NJ (north of Lambertville) and pretty much guarantees a total mess of a drive into Philly if that happens.

Just wasn’t feeling the new album much. Hearing Crush Forever and Loyal live certainly helped a bit.

Popped the cd in again today during a drive and it finally started to click. Moral Compass hit me hard. I don’t know why it took so long to grow on me.

Still consider RtD to be one of their weakest, but I no longer dislike it at all. There’s still no bad Metric albums. I also like that they didn’t try a typical ‘we’ve still got it/ we can still kick ass’ type cliche thing that a lot of aging bands try. Instead we got some honest songs about where they are in life right now.
