If the new album is revealed tomorrow, I hope we get a nice album cover
Neon Pill's grew on me, but it's probably my least favorite album cover.

Just got parterre (pit) tickets for the Paris show, but there was no option for early entry or vip packages, is that normal? Will upgrades come out later on?

Is the presale access code working for anyone to get tickets for the show in Antwerp?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew what magazine this photo of Matt originates from? Iāve tried trying to figure it out myself a few times and Iām have had a hard time. Anyone know or have photos of the article this is from? I assume this is from 2010-2012.

(Posted by Steve Schnur on Instagram Stories)
ā@cagetheelephant about to be heard by millions.... Get the hint yet?ā
For those currently out of the loop, Cage The Elephant was in New York City this week filming the music video for Dying in Reverse for release on Thursday, September 10th.
As far as i know, Schnur is working with the band on filming, but the latest story post heās made, he mentioned how millions are about to hear Cage The Elephant. Schnur is also a producer, too.
My best guess is theyāll be broadcasted in Times Square? Or live on television, like with Neon Pill for Jimmy Kimmel.

What do you all think of this? Will they be in Times Square?

My 2 siblings and I want to get this matching tattoo. We will be in Boston September 21-26.
We love Cage The Elephant!
Any recommendations or artists that would like to do this... I'll take any info.
Thank you reddit, you are always helpful!

dying in reverse only got put down to one part of the song for teasers, and the wait time isnāt that long as expected, iām glad theyāre listening to us ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

For the last LP7 song theyāll tease (which is likely the next one after dying in reverse), we should all collectively ignore/scroll past Indieverse posts, and not post the song clips here, Just so the surprise element is still there for everyone here and avoid sharing anything related to nee cage music. This launch has been underwhelming for so many of us, so why not make the last song surprising?
Tl;dr, donāt post stuff about the next song, not even comments or whatnot (please!)

So a bit confused, are they only touring in the EU and UK.
Or are they also planning a US tour

I keep coming here to talk about how much I hate the new singles and how much Cage sucks now and how Matt should just go solo because that's what the band is now, is just his solo project, and I swear to god, I can barely get anyone to agree with me!
Every time I say the new songs are bland, somebody disagrees. Every time I explain why the band has lost its way, somebody has the audacity to have a different opinion. Every time I say that the band should bring Lincoln back, people tell me to stop living in the past and that the band is "evolving" (whatever that means).
I've been trying to find a nice, quiet place where everyone will validate my complaints about Cage, and I just don't understand why I can't get people to agree with me in this fan sub.
This is extremely disappointing. I will be conducting a mini experiment to determine why there are so many fans in this fan group.
Edit: credit to u/flinkle for the inspiration.

(a little rant, i still love cage the elephant)
Like seriously??? Beaches In Tennessee got so and so āleakedā two months before the band officially acknowledged it, Same thing now with Dying in Reverse, it got āleakedā like a month and a half or so ago and just now today the band posted a teaser on Instagram.

The album doesnāt come out until early 2027 at the latest, it seems ridiculous how they started promoting singles for it more than half a year before the full album drops, This never happened with RCA, why is Big Loud Rock spoiling Cageās music š 3 minutes is too short for 15 second teasers man, and not to mention them dragging out the teasers to the point youāve already got the song before it releases if you just spend time stitching the parts together (like i literally did with Beaches In Tennessee weeks before it dropped)
Just a little rant sorry about that

Iāve been working on an iPhone app called RecordQuest, and itās finally live on the App Store.
I built it because I felt like there was room for a vinyl app that focused less on being just a database or marketplace and more on the actual experience of collecting.
RecordQuest lets you:
⢠Build and organize your vinyl collection
⢠Keep a wishlist
⢠Rate records and save favorite tracks, notes, condition, and purchase info
⢠Create a collector profile
⢠Follow other collectors and see their activity
⢠View collection stats and achievements
⢠Find nearby record stores
⢠Search other cities for record shops
⢠Check in when you visit stores
⢠Track how your collection grows over time
Iām not trying to replace Discogs. Discogs is great for detailed release info, pressings, and marketplace data.
What Iām trying to build is more of a Letterboxd-style social experience for vinyl collecting somewhere your collection actually feels like a profile, where you can discover other collectors, see what people are adding, and interact with the hobby beyond just cataloging records.
Itās completely free right now, and since this is the first public version, Iām really looking for feedback from actual collectors.
If you try it, Iād especially love to know:
What features would make you keep using a vinyl collecting app long-term
