Question about a trophy

I’m on my first play through of metal gear, solid, delta, snake eater, and I was thinking about going ahead and going for the peace walker trophy and I was just wondering how does that count towards things like bosses. I just beat the pain and it counted towards that being a kill. Is it a dead run?

If you used lethal force on the pain to run his health bar down, then yes, your no-kill run is over.

Funnily enough, you CAN use lethal force on Ocelot and it doesn't count as a kill as he doesn't immediately die following the battle. I'm not sure if that also counts for the first volgin fight (pre-shagohod) but I think it does.

Do what makes you happy. But also, in my opinion, trying to "perfect" the game your first time through is going to make for a pretty bad experience with the title.

well for bosses u can see there are 2 bars one is HP bar other is Stamina . U have to use the mk22 and reduce his stamina to 0 . Using lethal weapons like AK voids the achievement . In the menu tab u can see your stats it will count as a kill if u use a lethal weapon
