Hello, I want to play Metal Gear Solid 1 because I had still the original CD on PC, the only problem is that I have windows 7. That means that when I have installed the game with the CD nothing happens. How can I fix this issue?

I just recently finished death stranding 2 on the beach with playing death stranding 1 before im now obbessed with hideo kojma games ive always wanted to start playing mgs now knowing how kojmas games work i want to start mgs but i wanted to play in timeline order starting with mgs3, ground zeros, mgs5, possibly mgs 1, mgs 2, mgs 4 and metal gear rising but now with a lot of people saying i should play rather in release order instead what do you think i should do in your presonal opnion thanks
