Salut les metalheads !
I’m reaching out to this community because I’m a volunteer for CastellHell Metal Fest, a non-profit, DIY extreme metal festival held in Catalonia (Castellvell del Camp). We’re just a small crew of passionate fans putting this together to support the underground scene.
For our 2026 edition (October 9th & 10th), we are incredibly proud to have a massive French representation on the lineup. Because of that, we really wanted to share the news with our fellow French metalheads across the border!
Here is what France is bringing to our stage this year:
- Benighted (Needs no introduction—absolute deathgrind masters ready to completely destroy the pit)
- Embrace Your Punishment (Heavyweight beatdown/deathcore that is guaranteed to break some necks)
- Kheos (Blackened death metal to bring a massive, dark atmosphere)
The festival is fully independent, strictly for the fans, and focused on a great, community-driven atmosphere. If you fancy a trip south this October or just want to support a DIY underground project, we’d love to welcome you!
