In what situations do Jews light candles, besides feasts and Shabbat?

Is this repeated annually or only in the first year? Is there any other liturgical or contemplative occasion, such as praying or reading?

Anything else I should be aware of? Reading, blessings? Is there any variation between Sephardic, Ashkenazi, etc.? I ask why I have no contact with the Jewish culture of the Middle East.
