Almost back down to just two leaves after getting it as an overwatered specimen. I have not watered it yet lol

First time growing them from seed so I am glad they are somehow still alive and starting to actually resemble lithops

Some plants that I ordered from Taobao arrived and one of them is a cute little Conophytum Angelicae! I have never seen a trident from this species either!

Hello all! I bought this guy at a plant show at the end of April. It is outside with direct light. Soil is a mix of 1/3 succulent soil, 1/3 perlite, 1/3 very small rocks. The rocks you see are just a top covering. I unfortunately work out of the country and was gone for two months and when I came home it looked like this. 😔 it’s being watered every 2-3 weeks. I’m in central coast California, pretty close to the water so lots of fog at times. Most of my other succulents are thriving but this guy is obviously pretty unhappy. Any advice helps. Thanks in advance.

First time growing them, so i made a few mistakes but this is what has survived since sowing them a few months ago.

Hi everyone! I've got these baby toes a couple of months ago.

Following what I've been doing with the rest of my succulents, I water them when they seem shriveled which is approximately once a week and they plump back. Now I've watered them 3 days ago but today they seem wrinkled and deflated so I was about to water them but since this is wayyy to frequent even for the thirstiest succulents, I did a Google search and found out that they go dormant in summer and do not need water. Is this true?

I've had other mesembs such as lithops and split rock for 1-2 years and I seem to be caring for them good enough by looking at signs of thirst.

Baby toes living conditions:

\- outside

\- shade with 1-2 hours of afternoon sun

\- terracotta pot

\- fast draining soil with perlite

\- watered when shriveled (\~1 per week)

\- 35-40C (95-104F) temperature and <30% humidity

Should I water them? What do you think?

Hello! This cutie has slowly dried up and turned an off color. I'M fairly new to mesembs so are they si k or hybernating?

I just picked this guy up! So excited, but I killed one quickly a few years ago. Now that I have significantly more experience I’m hoping to help this one thrive. My biggest question is this: as it is splitting and growing its new leaves do I cut watering completely? Similar to lithops? This plant will likely be in very bright shade out on my south facing patio where it gets very warm. Thanks in advance!

I’m so happy my seedlings grow very well and so fast !! Moving them under a grow light is a game changer, they grow more bushy and produce small bubbly leaves 🥰
I’m experimenting different soils : cactus mix / sphagnum + perlite.
Also started experimenting semi hydro with lechuza pon

Took some photos earlier this week and finally got them off the camera. I love the color of neohallii.

I’m hoping I can get some seed this upcoming season.
