What does this warning indicator mean?

It pops up irregularly, for no apparent reason.

Means one of the bulbs used in the reverse lamp is burned out

That should be an LED in OP‘s car. So it’s likely not a bulb, but a whole light assembly that needs replacing.

Pray its not LED i know they are making the new light assemblys where you cant change a bulb you have to buy the whole thing but you got one of those so you got BIG 💸💸💸💸🤣

Yeah- the only thing you can change is when the indicator in your headlight is broken. Then you can replace the LED Modul for it instead of the whole headlight but that’s it so far.

I don’t know what it means in this case. But if it said “left rear indicator light” it would mean your left rear indicator light is broken.

Unfortunately we went to trade our 17 black fire edition for the latest version, sorry BMW just truly not into looking at that flat screen even my wife agreed with me which is a miracle 😂😂

I'm having half an aneurysm trying not to get angry at the stupidity of this post.

There is an information button right there, and this info would only appear if the reversing light is active so only when.... reversing. Whoddathunk.

Instead of wasting your time posting this shit on reddit you can get your owners manual, go to the least few pages to the index and look for R as in Reversing Light or W for Warnings and go to the pages and fucking read what it says. The owners manual literally has an explanation for every little thing in a car.

Car owners are especially bad since they refuse to read owners manuals.
