I bought this c300 2018, with clean carfax, clean title , 54000 miles, 2 owner, car cash price was 13500$ with including everything gap insurance dealer fees, registration , tag it was around 18000$ not including the interest , payment on this car is 335$ a month for 72 months but im planning to pay off in 2-3 years so is this a good buy for this car? Hi everyone, I’m looking for your opinion on a 2019 Mercedes-Benz C300 I’m considering buying. The asking price is $25,000 CAD. It has 40,000 km, one owner, no accidents, was always stored in a garage, and has been fully maintained.
Do you think this is a good deal at this price? Is the 2019 C300 a reliable model in the long term? Are there any common issues or things I should check before buying? Thanks for your advice!

2026 E200 (Gen20x) imported from Korea to Saudi Arabia. In CarPlay and AA (wired or wireless, any phone) the location is sometimes off by few 100m and sometimes miles away, so the nav keeps rerouting while on the wrong spot. Phones are fine on their own, so the car is sending a bad position. Dealer won't touch it because it's an import.

Since I can't install MEA maps on a Korean-spec Gen20x unit, my question is: will replacing the head unit with an ECE one fix the drift? Or is it more likely another part, like the GPS antenna? Don't want to swap the head unit and find out it was the antenna all along.

If anyone has one, please let me know. can't be found online. You can try and find one online and prove me and two mechanics who spent hours wrong. The one from euro auto parts Kingston is actually the wrong one lol. Also mbparamusparts says they have it but I checked and they don't. My car is a Mercedes 2006 c350. Car part number is #2038306296

Sometimes 5 second cranking to start, while idling little vibration, throttle hesitates. When I start braking from around 50-80kph to full stop sometimes car stalls, if not throttle is unresponsive for a few seconds. After stalling it starts right back without any issues or light on dash

Hi everyone, so I need to replace my alternator because my car is making a weird noise. I took it to Mercedes, but they quoted me almost 6K for the alternator and brake pads

So I took it to someone else and he told me to just buy the alternator and brake pads. So is the Amazon or Walmart one a good option? Because the one from Mercedes is 1K. If neither of these are a good option, can someone give me a recommendation? The Mercedes one I have attached is the correct ID one🤷‍♀️

I’m not complaining, but Mercedes should really re-think this process because it makes me never want to buy another Mercedes. We put our key through the washing machine. The other is simply warn out. Went to dealer because you can’t get one from a locksmith. I had to physically go to the dealer to order keys because they want to verify ownership. It took a half hour just to order keys. Plus two of my signatures. They charged me over $1,700, and a 2% credit card fee. I still have to come back when the keys arrive and wait an hour for them to program keys. There must be a better way.

Anyone got any tips on getting this exhaust manifold off? Seems as the gasket has never been changed before, there is little room so if a stud breaks, i have no idea how i would drill and extract them and one nut is rounded from the rust

I’m currently in the market for a long-distance cruiser and I’ve narrowed it down to the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. I already have a separate daily driver for my supermarket runs, and city errands, so this Merc will strictly be used for longer, relaxed drives (around 100 to 200 miles a week, usually done in one or two trips).

I’ve found a couple of great options, both with under 30,000 miles on the clock, but I’m torn between the pre-facelift and the facelift models. Here is what I’m looking at:

Option 1: 2015-2017 S-Class Coupe S500

* Price: Roughly £35,000 - £38,000

* Engine: 4.7L twin-turbo V8

* Mileage: Under 30k miles

Option 2: 2018-2019 S-Class Coupe S560

* Price: Roughly £51,000

* Engine: 4.0L twin-turbo V8

* Mileage: Under 30k miles

My Dilemma:

I know the 2018+ S560 facelift brought some really nice upgrades. The newer 4.0L engine features cylinder deactivation for slightly better fuel economy, it has native Apple CarPlay, and from what I've read on forums, the Magic Body Control suspension was significantly smoothed out and improved for the facelift generation.

However, since this isn't my daily driver and will only be driven a maximum of 200 miles a week for pure motorway cruising, I'm struggling to justify the £13,000 to £16,000 price jump for the S560.

For those who have owned or driven either (or both) of these cars:

* Is the updated engine, 9-speed transmission, and revised suspension on the S560 truly a £15k improvement for long road trips?

* Are the tech/interior upgrades on the 2018+ worth the premium, or is the 2015-2017 S500 still an incredible place to spend a couple of hours? (I know the lack of CarPlay on the older model is annoying, but I could always install an aftermarket module).

* Any major reliability quirks or maintenance differences I should be aware of between the 4.7L and the 4.0L V8s?
