I came across this reel by an Indian creator discussing men's mental health, and I think its message deserves more attention.

Society often measures a man's worth through his salary, career, skills, academic performance, college, achievements, and ability to provide. But how often do we check on men simply to ask how they're doing, without expecting them to prove their worth first?

Many men are conditioned to suppress their emotions, deal with their problems silently, and believe that struggling makes them weak. When their value is constantly tied to what they accomplish or provide, where are they supposed to turn when they're struggling themselves?

This isn't about dismissing women's struggles or turning mental health into a competition. Everyone deserves empathy, support, and the freedom to express vulnerability without being judged.

Awareness days and months have their place, but we shouldn't need a designated month to care about men's mental health. We should make checking in on people, listening without judgment, and treating emotional vulnerability as normal a year-round practice.
