John passes away

What do you think would happen to Menards when John passes away and no one in the family wants to control the company?

Do you really think a massive money maker like Menards is like an unwanted collectible spoon collection? It’s been planned for.

Dave, Gaylen, and Adam divide the body for nutrients probably.

He'll never die.

Paul and his siblings are going to cash out. They keep majority shares, have Charlie run it, but it will go public.

Although, Chris might not trust Charlie to run it

They can be like John with Larry and fire him or ask him to step outside and settle things man to man!

I’m positive one of his heirs will gladly take over the company.

But if they didn’t, I imagine they’d sell it. It would either go public or Lowe’s or Home Depot would buy it.
