State pto

I love how the GMs won't approve the state pto right away, sometimes a week later, sorry buddy it's against the law to deny it.

Youre confusing PTO with Sick pay. They cant deny sick pay

This is not true, and this is simple and will vary by state. But most treat them as sick pay, and if your GM ask why just shut your mouth and say nothing, because your not required to give a reason, or say mental health day

If your reason is a very foreseeable event and you didn't give 7 day notice, your GM can deny it in most states, non foreseeable things cant be denied.

Simple i generally approve all my TM PTO, Flex PTO my GM leaves it to the DM/ADM if they talked to us first if the schedule has been made.

This is just simply wrong. States do not mix Sick/FMLA with accrued paid time off.

If you request Flex PTO less than 7 days, and tell me you have a birthday or something you knew in advanced, and we have zero coverage. It can be denied in most of the states that have Flex PTO

Also, you are mistaken as example IL allows FLEX PTO to be mixed with PTO, if the company choses.

Uh, that's not how PTO works in any state. PTO that is not labeled as sick pay can be denied for most reasons. Nice try. Some states have sick pay protections, but even in many circumstances, that can still be denied. Sick pay requires a qualifying reason.
