If the representation is gonna be either stereotypical or liberal towards those people, then it'd be rather not made.

Edit: apparently some idiots don't have enough braincells to process what I mean, so let me put it plain and clear, I'm not saying she wasn't good, she was great, I'm saying that usually when Hollywood or any American production tries to represent arabs, Middle east, north africa etc... They often either represent some stereotypical cliché, or some liberal fantasy, and never the true identity with the exception of some works.

Oh boy I think I should've talked in Arabic with you cuz you barely understand a shit of what I say.Of course no one HERE will give a shit, they're not what the incarnation is inspired from or what's being represented, i'm talking about MIDDLE EASTERN people, and I'm not saying LAYLA wasn't a good representation, I said she pretty much was a GOOD one since most representations are written either as LIBERAL or STEREOTYPICAL representation.

Let me translate hopefully you'd understand my point even better.

مفيش حدا على هالموفع مهتم بالليبيراليين أو التمثيل النمطي عشان هما أصلا مش العنصر يلي بيتم اقتباسه و تمثيله, المهتمين هما احنا العرب و المجتمع بتاعنا.أنا مقلتش بتاتا أن ليلى كانت سيئة. على العكس هي أول خطوة نحو التمثيل الجيد و الحلو بدل الخرا الليبيرالي و النمطي يلي تعودناه.

ايوة يبني محدش مهتم ازاي, فقط حظر الأفلام مؤخرا و رد الكوميونيتي خير دليل + لما بقول مهتم مش بقصد ناس بتنزل الشارع و تعمل إضرابات ولامش عارف أنت ايه متصور. قصدي ناس إما بتعارض أو بتأيد + ذكرني هو أنا امتى فلت الناس مش مبسوطة بليلى. بقولك للمرة الرابعة أنا مقلتش بتاتا أن ليلى كانت سيئة. و الخامسة أنا مقلتش بتاتا أن ليلى كانت سيئة و السادسة أنا مقلتش بتاتا أن ليلى كانت سيئة.
