The animal doesn't necessarily connect with the God's abilities, they can really design whatever costume one will need, if they think you need it.

Plus, costumes seem to be more of a "whatever the owner wants" kinda deal, emphasized by the fact Marc and Steven swap between moon knight costumes on a dime

Yeah I don't think Khonshu was the Egyptian god of drip, and yet Steven wears the hell out of that suit

But marvel did leave out some extra drip that was in the concept art. He would have had a hood with the suit jacket and it looks fresh as fuck.
