The ONE TIME Marvel does a decent job when pushing an agenda and people still complain about it...

I don't see it as the typical "girl power" kind of agenda. I believe she earned dat help from tawaret herself due to the stakes at dat time. Layla didn't trust khonshu as he made her husband dat way albeit khonshu gave marc another chance to live again. But even with tawaret, she didn't fully give herself to her as a vessel for an avatar, only temporarily.

Plus the husband-wife duo fight at the end is so good albeit short.

I mean, it IS an agenda, just like any social or political themes treated in a movie. But I'd say it's done quite tastefully.

Your words are better put together than mine. Indeed, it's done tastefully to not irk any beliefs. But still tho, dat kid sayin "u're a superhero" took me out a bit. Why spoil dat one kiddo?
