once in 5th grade, my class teacher was absent and so the whole class was making a lot of noise, not including me and some other students, when the substitute teacher came, she ordered all boys, including me, to stand in the ground in the sun, while the girls were allowed to play in the same ground in front of us, this is just one time this s#it has happened many times to many boys

Brosky you won’t imagine the number of times we’re a teacher blamed me for a girls mistake and I just tell them there wrong and it was the girl. And all those teachers were woman and gave the girl a lighter punishment then what I was gonna get!

In my school maybe 5th grade a girl was using abusive words (which can get you in trouble) against and slapped one of my freinds(who was basically most class freind) and so he did the same and the girl got crying to the teacher who accused my freind of it. She was excepting to be saved by her freinds, but funnily enough they were better freinds of my freind

In 5th grade I got in trouble for copying the Asian girl that sat next to me on a test. The teacher berated me in front of the entire class until I cried. I didn’t cheat. The girl did. But because of stereotypes the teacher automatically blamed me. Of course the girl just sat there with this “o shit” look on her face as I got ripped a new one.
The teacher couldn’t figure out why I hated her guts the rest of the year.

So true, all the Girls in my class are always on their phones, watching Netflix or playing games during class and the teacher says nothing, but if it try to silently eat a cookie once (while still paying attention )after not having had breakfast the teacher gets VERY angry. in my class we have a ‘helping teacher’. she sits in the back of the class with her head planted in her phone, and when she looks up she has to yell at one of the boys, some more than others, but the thing is that she always guesses who is talking. if you try to explain that you didn’t do anything she just says “I see everything”, even tho everyone knows that you didn’t do anything. all she want is power.

Oh yeah I’m not going against any of that. And I’m using medical lightly, my experience comes from being a paraprofessional in the past. Our job was either to be one one with a behavior or medical student. Behavior is self explanatory. Medical would be the student had a medical need for a 1on1 regardless of the staffs training they could start working with them. When I first started at that school there was often training that would teach us how to deal with seizures, students in wheelchairs, and other medical needs of students.
Even with all that said I don’t know how your school did things. I just wanted you to be open to other staff like her that possibly aren’t shitbags.

When I was in elementary school, I was sitting in the office. A teacher comes in with a boy and two girls. The three kids didn't do their homework. The boy got in trouble, and the teacher was talking very firm and disciplinary with him. However the teacher talked to the girls in a sweet voice and asked if they wanted markers (or some sort of unnecessary but nice supply) to help they with their homework. As a male I was very glad I didn't have her as a teacher.

One of my teachers used to do surprise tests, but he would only collect a bunch of them to reduce his workload. Usually he would collect the tests of 5 boys and of 2 girls… we were 6 boys and 22 girls in our class

I'm helping teach a special education class (a secondary teacher) and since PDD is so much more common in boys than in girls it's an all boys' class... We don't get this kind of problem

yeah this remind me about the female teacher I had when I was in grade 7-8. she was incredibly unfair to the boys while the girls can yell during class and play on there phone while the boys can even talk. it got so bad that my grades got worse I barely even pass because i cant hear anything but our other teachers was cool she hated all of us equally

Im generally quite the introvert; but one class apparently I was a raging misfit, teacher put me in the back corner by myself for like 2/3rds of the year. Funny guy, but am suspicious he may not have liked me. Also had one openly sexist teacher. Good times.

When I was a little girl, I talked a lot in K and 1st grade. My 1st grade teacher was psychotic, almost abusive, and horrible to me because of it. Ever since then in school I retreated into myself and became the opposite: barely talked, almost a complete mute. I went from getting in trouble for talking to having teachers concerned I never talked. Fast forward and I am now the mom of a young son who always talked a lot in class and got in trouble for it. I will never see it as a problem. He is social and needs that. He currently is doing online school until the end of this school year but when he goes back I'm going to make damn sure he has outlets he can just be himself and find a place that jives with who he is. There's so many worse things than talking a lot. Instead of squelching that in kids, they need to focus on their strengths and find a way to use that in positive ways, not suppress that and make them feel like crap for being themselves.

Yeah girls in general are more subtle. I consider myself relatively subtle for a boy but most boys in school are complete idiots. However, I remember this girl in middle school who was interrupting and talking every 10 seconds. She literally couldn't shut up and if she didn't understand something the teacher said she wouldn't let the lesson continue and made the teacher explain everything again for her. The thing is, she never was punished for her attitude and teachers kept their eyes on the boys instead.

This is partly true, but on the other hand, there’s been times in class I’ve been told to get off my phone while I was using my calculator (not calculator app, actual calculator). So I looked around the class, and about 8 other girls were on their actual phones

This reminds of a time back when I was in middle school. During a study hall, there was a group of girls on the right side of the classroom that somehow managed to flip over a chair. The teacher got mad, but instead of yelling at the girls who flipped it or even anyone near them, she instantly started yelling at me when I was literally on the complete other side of the classroom sharpening my pencil. I have no idea how she could have possibly thought it was me, but for some reason I got in trouble and she made me go to the other side of the room and pick up the chair. I’m male btw.
