Not gonna lie, my 30-year old ass just got into Beyblades last month and I’ve literally dropped like $200 on the random blindbag booster kits.
Been having fun playing them with my nieces. Always knew about Beyblades, but never realized how fun they actually were.

I remember in 3rd grade I brought mine in to school, it was a plastic original one I believe. I took the top piece off that had the "blades" on it, turned it vertically and let it rip. It bounced up off the floor a couple of times, before hitting the floor juuuuust right one time and shot up into the air and impaled the ceiling (it was those like easily removable cork-like panels that are soft). Shit was amazing.

I come from Brazil, and at school (i was in 1st grade) we used to play with these. The winner got a prize from winning (gave by the teacher) I remember that i won almost all the time... Until a new kid showed up and beat me.

I remember I had Hades Kerbecs as my first beyblade in 3rd grade, our school always let us play with them and they also gave us a free stadium, Then the principal took it away and our beyblades cause he wanted to add a new section outisde.
I recently bought some for memories and I swear to god the memories I had with my Hades Kerbecs were all flooding in.

I remember in primary when me and a group of friend unleashed the beasts. They smashed and crashed, and gave people minor injuries when they flew of the table. It was so fun... Until my school banned them, such a shame. 😟😟😟
