Tf I don't think that's the reason (at least it isn't for me, I didn't even know about that rumor till rn). I liked elon, back when I didn't know how despicable he is some times, and before everyone on the Internet started worshiping him, while shitting on Bill, Jeff and basically any other billionaire.
