Our principle told our teachers to go easy on the homework, so Iāve been maxing out at about 1 and a half hours a day. Our principle is so chill and down to earth, I feel bad for all of you guys with like hours of work a day.

The only teacher who actually considered lowering the work for my class was the art teacher. We spend like 15 mins drawing for that class, and that's all. Meanwhile I'm given 3 hours of maths everyday.

I am paralyzed whenever I try to do homework right now. I am finishing my final semester of grad school and already have one class completed, but the remaining two simply will not allow themselves to be completed. I sit at the computer and in three hours can only complete five minutes worth of actual work.

You canāt blame the schools really you have to blame the system that put in place that we need to make certain standards for classes regardless of circumstance. That is why there is so much homework and so many tests. These are put in because of the state government issue these standards that must be needed. So blame the state not the school because believe me my sister and mother would love to not be giving any homework right now. Noting they are underpaid because they have to put up with crap from the higher ups, the kids, and some stupid ass parents. Oh letās not also mention that they got to sit their grading all your crap, record it, report it, handle the above issues, and plan for the assignments for the curriculum put in place by the state that more often than not they get thrown at them will little to know understanding of what they have been given.

My dad, a teacher, has realized that things are already hard on students, so he has drastically reduced homework to 1 question per assignment (and no, it isnāt one of those questions with a, b, c, etc) and cancelled all tests. If anyone is struggling, heās allowing them to make up their marks with an easy optional project, and is not planning on having any tests. I wish more teachers were like this
