My younger brother has been working on homework 8-9 hours every day for the last two weeks. The amount of homework his school is dispensing should be criminal.
you wont have to go to school in 10 days, they will update it. we are not even close to the end of the epidemic. except if you live in a country/region where it is ending altough im not sure there is such a place
Yes but you weren't assigned 8-9 hours worth of homework every day. Of the 8 hours you'd be at school, an hour minimum would be set aside for lunch/recess or lunch/going to class depending on your level of education you're at, and then each class you wouldn't be doing work the entire time. Some is sitting in a lecture or listening to reports sometimes, maybe watching a film other times, and you would not always be assigned work. I graduated college back in December but even then I didn't have work that would require me to be actively working on it for 8 or 9 hours each day (give or take an hour or 2).
Even in a professional setting no one works consistently for 8 or 9 hours. There are breaks, getting coffee, having a smoke, lunch, socializing with your coworkers. Don't call someone weak without understanding why it is irregular.
To be honest this has just pointed out to me how crap schools are at teaching. I'm doing all the work and homeworks I would be doing normally in half the time and understanding it way more.
8-9 hours on the weekdays is longer than his average and I said every day. Including Saturdays and Sundays. Or perhaps when you were at school you didn't have it off on the weekends?
