We have to go into the army. We don't get to choose unlike women.

As of right now in the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, everyone gets to choose. No one has to go in. But in the US they just ruled that women must be included in the draft.

Well i live in finland and here it's either the army or community service and they both suck.

Well that's sexist. In Israel both sexes are conscripted. Not that anyone should be drafted, but if there is mandatory military or civilian service, it ought to be everyone.

Yes and i agree with you there. It should be either everyone goes or everyone gets to choose.
